Pattinson’s First Film
Pattinson’s first film role was in the made for TV film Ring of the Nibelungs in 2004. He had a small part in Vanity Fair, but his scenes were cut from the final version of the film and only remain on the DVD. In 2005, Pattinson got his big break when he scored the role of Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. He reprised the role in 2007’s Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Pattinson’s biggest role to date is playing Edward Cullen in the film version of Twilight, the popular teen novel by Stephanie Meyer. He beat out 3,000 other hopefuls to win the part. The sequel, New Moon, is presently being filmed in British Columbia. His most recent film releases are Little Ashes, in which he plays Salvador Dali, and the British comedy, How To Be.
